When we first found out about this project for Facebook/Oculus we knew the result was going to be incredible…

We were asked to create an immersive audio experience in the LA Theater which was built in the 1930s and seats 2000+ people. So, we designed a powerful discrete 21-channel L’Acoustics loudspeaker array and used a variety of software to design sound effects and perform an immersive mix to a 360-degree visual experience on-site.

Holograms, 360 degrees of projection mapping, lasers, fog…and 21 channels of synchronized spatial audio. It’s fair to say it ended up blowing past everyone’s expectations.
